Cbank: Russia’s trend inflation slows down to 5.4% in December
MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s trend inflation slowed down to 5.4% in December 2017 from 5.5% in November, the central bank said on Monday.
The current trend inflation estimate remains high due to high inflation in the past and inertia of calculation of the figure, the authority said. Medium-term risks of inflation exceeding 4% annually are falling but are still prevailing over risks of its being lower than the target.
